Good news everyone! A South African team won last week. Aww yisss. Unfortunately it was the Sharks and they were against another SA side, the Lions. Awww FiretrUCK me, come on!

So that was embarrassing… and no, I am not talking of my terrible predictions from last week, yes that was embarrassing but I am rather referring to that cluster Firetruck of a rugby display put out by our SA sides in Round
Four more Super Rugby match ups this Saturday and three of them are in South Africa. Stock up on beers, charcoal and chops peeps, it’s Braai time!
Round 8 already, sheesh kebabs with surprise sauce!! Super Rugby is nearly half way done and I have yet to accurately predict a round so far. Standard. Apologies of the humble kind for failing to post my previews last week. I was in Las Vegas for ‘business
Part 2 of this round’s preview has a distinct South African boerewors and beers flavour with four SA sides involved in three of the four games
Round 5 done and dusted and the only real surprises of the week would have been the Force beating the Highlanders and perhaps the Brumbies beating the Waratahs. The Brumbies win did not please Waratahs coach Michael Cheika too much and he took his frustrations out on the window in front of him. Take it easy Cheika, what were you thinking? “This scene is not what I want, I will destroy this view! Cheika Smaaash!” The official line coming out of the Waratahs camp is that the “glass door shattered when he opened it in frustration.” Riiiiight
Four more Super Rugby games to preview not to mention the final 6 Nations games this weekend, which I will not be previewing but here are my predictions for the three Northern Hemisphere situations. Italy vs England – England will win and Clive Woodward will once again declare that England are RWC2015 favourites
Last week dished up a few surprise results with the Force’s impressive win over the Rebels, the Bulls comfortable win over the Blues and the Brumbies relatively breezy win over the Hurricanes in Wellington causing the most frustration on SuperBru. Indeed the Stormers getting so close against the Crusaders would have destroyed most SuperBru margin points too but hey ho, that’s why we bet our salaries on watch Super Rugby
Happy Friday everyone! Let’s get our drink on. Oh, its only 10:00…. give it an hour or so then, boom. Plenty of rugby coming your way on Saturday, or plentsh, as some would say. Three more Super Rugby clashes and two 6 Nations games thrown in for good measure. Glorious times ahead and no mistake. Set excitement levels to Awwww yis!
Apologies for late post, I was going to have this up earlier but Eskom shed it’s load all over my morning. Round 4 of Super Rugby already and it is the showing of pre-season favourites, the Crusaders and Reds that will be worrying their respective unions. Could this simply be a matter of slow starts and taking a bit of time to settle or are there deeper issues at hand? I reckon it is probably too soon to properly gauge but both will be desperate for improved displays this week at home
