It’s been awhile since I LOL’ed on my own. This could be down to several reasons: I’m so popular I never find time to be on my own – not so much I’m chained at the hip to a wife/girlfriend/dominatrix – perhaps in the future (listed in increasing order of preference) My sense of humour is obscure, some would say obtuse – this is the most likely of the likely scenarios Brooklyn Nine nine found it’s way onto my laptop this week, the show’s in its fourth week, and if it can keep up the cadence of episode one, it’s going to be slice of fried gold. Starring Andy Samberg, who brought us the musical magic of The Lonely Island while simultaneously giving Michael Bolton some actual street cred – whaaaaat? 2012 is nearly over (I too was shocked to learn of this) and not unlike my sexual prowess, the progress was initially slow and laborious, then kind of interesting and surreal and finally over before getting a chance to really enjoy it. Some of you will be hectic, smash you in your face, busy at this time of year but others like myself are winding down at a casual, let’s take some time to enjoy these moments, kind of pace. I have always felt that it is up to the people with nothing to do to keep our super busy friends and colleagues distracted entertained during these times and it is with this in mind that I recommend you send this video to all and sundry…marked “urgent” and red flagged.
